Our World, Our Home-Objective
For this project we were commissioned by BIA of New Westminster to transform a black fence into a message of support during the COVID times.The mural along all three sides of the property facing the streets has a total length of about 80 metres.The Columbia Street frontage spells out “#togethernewwest” with a cityscape of the street in the background, while the Mackenzie Street frontage features a literal “Thank you!” to all essential workers. And along Front Street, the mural design “Our WORLD, OUR HOME” features imagery that symbolizes COVID-19’s global impact and that community is not alone in the fight.
